These exceptional vintage earrings display the artistry of days gone by. Specialty French cut high quality Ceylon sapphires are skillfully designed into the earrings. Although French cut sapphires were readily used in designed during the height of the roaring 20’s it was extremely rare to find them at a very high quality. These sapphires are of superb quality and showcase top of the line Ceylon cornflower blue color, excellent clarity, fine French cuts and astounding bright blue brilliance. In total there is 0.88 carats of fine quality blue sapphires including the focal oval cuts that are 0.30 ctw. The Art Deco Period embellishes the use of varying geometric shapes to create patterns and often used pave set diamonds, migraine edges and fancy motifs. These earrings incorporate each of these design elements with a top earring component exhibiting a beautiful pave diamond lined motifs, pave diamonds throughout the design and migraine edges. The earrings have 0.80 ctw diamonds that are VS2/SI1 FG quality. The earrings are made with post backs and have secure butterfly backs. They weigh 10.81 grams of 18K white gold and dangle 40.50 mm or 11/2″ in length and 13.45 mm or 1/2″ in width and have a thickness of 5.10 mm.
