The lure of tsavorite’s deep rich emerald green color is self apparent and as fine jewelry consumer’s demand for it has grown over the years the stone’s supply has inversely been diminishing. I love tsavorite and pride myself in finding simply the best on all accounts including rich green color, eye-clean clarity and top cutting and brilliance. This tsavorite is such a specimen. Weighing in at 1.22 carats the round brilliant stone is considered amongst the finest due to its superb rich, pure and evenly saturated emerald green color, eye-clean clarity (with tsavorite this is particularly difficult as the stone is often found with bubble veils, feathers and dark spots) and superior electric green brilliance. Prong set the tsavorite rests between channel set diamond baguettes and round brilliant diamonds that are elegantly set across the ring’s shoulders. The ring weighs 4.2 grams of 14KWG, has 0.50 ctw in diamonds (high quality VS2 FG clarity and color grades) and is a size 73/4 (re-sizing available).
