Custom requests such as a ring sizing typically take 2-4 additional business days (although this varies during the holiday season and does not include custom orders). All shipments require a signature upon delivery unless other arrangements are made with us prior to shipping (packages may only be insured with signature receipt). Insurance for theft, loss or breakage is available for purchase in the check-out process. Shipping methods include US Postal Services Priority Mail (2-3 days delivery and used by USA APO addresses) , UPS or Fed Ex 1 or 2 day service. Fed Ex Priority First Overnight with delivery by 10:00 am or Saturday delivery (if available in your area) may be requested for an additional fee. International packages are shipped via Fed Ex International Priority Service. Due to security orders placed by credit card will be sent to the billing address ONLY. Under special circumstances with submission of appropriate documentation an alternative shipping destination may be considered for established clients. Incredibly rare is this 1.63 carat GIA Burma (imported prior to Burma ban and new tariffs) ruby that is certified not only as VIVID red but pigeon blood red which is considered the highest color attainable for a ruby. The ruby measures 6.38-6.48 X 4.1 mm, has superb cutting, clarity and luster. The brilliance varies under different lighting conditions and the photographs are taken under halogen light with a flash. The ruby is less brilliant under regular LED lighting and more brilliant with other indoor lighting and sunlight. The vivid red color is beautifully contrasted by the halo of shared prong set round brilliant diamonds. Diamonds also line the ring’s shoulders and in total this designer A. Jaffee ring has 0.36 carats total weight of diamonds that are highly rated VS1 FG quality. The ring is made with 4.65 grams of 14KWG and is a size 8.
