Product Details

Fine quality, unheated pink sapphires in large sizes are exceptionally difficult to obtain. This gorgeous oval brilliant cut Tanzanian pink sapphire weighs 2.19 carats and is certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA,) the leading authority on diamond and color gemstone laboratory assessments, as being a natural untreated pink sapphire that has enough red in the color to also be certified as a ruby (pink corundum). The sapphire’ primary color is a deep raspberry with pink being dominant over red. The sapphire has excellent clarity, bright brilliance with pink and red flashes evident and its color has optimal saturation that is even throughout without any zoning or dark spots. Prong set the sapphire is mounted to a world renowned designer Kobi diamond ring. Rarely does one see radiant cut diamonds used as accenting stones on a mounting and this ring displays 1.00 carats of fine quality exceptionally cut radiant diamonds of VS1 H quality. The mounting is made with a hefty and durable 9.0 grams of platinum and is a size 61/2. A GIA report of this pink sapphire/ruby will accompany its sale. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
