Product Details

Classified as rare this exceptional fine quality pink sapphire/ruby f(pinkish red ruby) rom the Winza, Tanzania mine exhibits uncharacteristically near flawless clarity (few microscopic specs noted with magnification). The Winza mines are known for producing pink sapphires/rubies that take on an additional quality which is their neon glow of color (similar to the Paraiba tourmalines). Glowing with bright pinkish red color this 1.66 carat stone is not only rare for its high quality but is also unheated and is certified by the reputable G.I.T. (Gemological Institute of Thailand). The pink sapphire/ruby measures 7.55 X 5.39 and is prong set in a low position between a pair of round brilliant diamonds that are 0.95 carats total weight and VS2 GH quality. The pair has excellent proportions, polishing and faceting so their extraordinary bright white brilliance matches the sapphire/ruby. An additional 0.10 carat total diamond weight is comprised of round brilliant diamonds that are prong set on the ring’s shoulders and are SI1 GH grades. The ring weighs 6.2 grams of 14K white gold and is a size 7 (please request resizing on your order form).
