Product Details

A rare and gorgeous beauty is this 1.37 carat expertly round brilliant faceted unheated sapphire from Ceylon. The sapphire is certified by AGL (American Gem Laboratory) as unheated, measures 6.20 mm round, displays top beautiful rich blue color and has excellent clarity (in some photos you may see a white line which is a facet edge reflection and not part of the stone and also some microscopic pin points which is the silk commonly seen in unheated sapphires with magnification and it is not visible to the unaided eye). Most notable is the stone’s extraordinary bright blue brilliance due to expert cutting, gorgeous color and top clarity. The bright blue sapphire is prong set amidst a halo of round brilliant prong and channel bead set diamonds. The edges of the halo and ring’s shoulders are milgrain detailed and lend to an Art Deco influence in design. In total the ring has 0.89 carats total weight in diamonds that are SI1 H quality. The ring weighs a substantial 8.2 grams, is a size 6 and is fairly thick and you will need to increase your ring size by 1/4 for an appropriate fit. (Please let us know your sizing request on the order form.) ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
